My piece ‘There Goes Chester’ is inspired by my family trips to Lake Nipissing. Dense lush trees frame the left side, creating a cool contrast as well as the blue water that stretches across the canvas. The warm shoreline leads the eye to lines of trees under a bright sky painted in pastel colours. 6 colourful muskoka chairs and our mascot floatie “Chester” add personalized and fun touches to the scene.
