My piece ‘Denim Skies' is a landscape acrylic poured painting that features a vibrant pastel sky. Blue, pink and yellow clouds form in an abstract/ expressive painting style. Below the clouds, the blue sky transitions to a magenta, suggesting a peaceful sunset. A dark strip of silhouetted trees rest on the horizon line, casting reflections in calm water. The trees break up the horizon, adding a natural element to the composition. With its ethereal glow, the water captures the transitional time of day.
Denim Skies is finished in a handmade gray floating frame. It will thrive against a light toned wall with magenta or navy room accents.
