My piece ‘Morning Fire' is an Algonquin inspired painting featuring a morning sunrise bursting over the horizon line in the bottom right. The sky shows off a contrasting dark navy and light yellow/orange cloudy sky. The clouds, background sky gradient, as well as the treeline lead your eye toward the sun focal point. Morning Fire is inspired by my yearly deep woods backpacking trips into Algonquin Parks interior.
This painting is finished in a handmade neutral brown walnut stained frame and will thrive as a large statement piece on a large brightly lit wall.
