My piece ‘Lost in Thought' is a vivid landscape painting capturing islands of dense thin trees set against a cloudy sky. The colour palette consists of cool gentle blues, soft pinks and purples. The trees contrast the blues with vibrant neon greens and pinks. The cloud formations torpedo toward the ground and break apart at the horizon line, creating a symmetry in the paintings composition.
Lost in Thought is framed in a handmade light walnut pine wood frame that promotes the bright saturated colours. It will thrive against a lightly toned wall in a room with neutral coloured accents.
