My piece ‘Flaming Sky‘ is an abstract representation of a vibrant cloudy sunset. The palette consists of deep blues, bright reds and fiery oranges against a pale sky gradient. The composition erupts in large irregular clouds from the lower canvas, forming a dramatic sunset. Fluidity and motion is caused by the unique style of painting. Fluid acrylic paints in layers show off thousands of bubbles and patterns in striking coloration.
Flaming Sky is completed in a dark walnut pine wood frame. This painting will thrive on a large dark toned wall over a bed or couch.
