My piece Rushing Rapids is a chaotic and lively nature scene of rushing water around natural rock formations. I poured the background in 5 shades of blue waves. I designed the rocks based on the rush of water and placed them in with a pallet knife. The rocks are made up acrylic and plaster and have reflective tints of gold that shine in the light and give the overall feel of depth. Finally I very carefully added in light blue designs around the rocks to really add the rushing water aesthetic.
